Noxious substance sprayed at bar

Two men have been arrested in an Essex seaside resort after a noxious substance, thought to be ammonia, was sprayed into a bar on Saturday night.The incident happened at a restaurant bar on Pier Avenue in Clacton. A 33-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault and a 35-year-old man on suspicion of affray. The ambulance service were called to treat people at a private party affected by the substance and police said they had recovered a bottle.
